Botswana Plains Game Hunting with CT Safaris
Hunting in the communal (open) areas of Botswana was banned in 2013. However; excellent plains game hunting opportunities are still available on private game ranches in Botswana and Chris established Tuli African Hunting Safaris - Botswana as a division of CT Safaris. Tuli Hunting Safaris focuses purely on plains game hunting safaris in the Tuli Block of Botswana. Please check out the Tuli Hunting Safaris website on www.botswanahunt.com for additional information on our 47 square mile hunting preserve in Botswana.
The Tuli Block is a narrow fringe of land at Botswana's Eastern border, wedged between Zimbabwe in the North and South Africa in the South. The Tuli reaches from the South-East corner, where the Shashe and Limpopo Rivers meet, down to the Notwane River, North of Olifants Drift in the South-West. The entire conservancy area, including the adjacent safari area bordering the Tuli Circle encompasses approximately 1.9 million acres.
Our hunting area in the Tuli Block is located approximately 6 miles South of the Martin's Drift / Grobler's Bridge border post on the Limpopo River and comprise of some 30,000 acres of hunting land.
Accommodations comprise of safari tents with private bathrooms en-suite. The camp is situated on the banks of the Limpopo River and provide some stunning views of the river and wildlife below.
It is not uncommon to see crocodiles sunbathing on the riverbank or a Bushbuck strolling past camp. Even Hippos frequent the area and are occasionally seen or heard!
This largely unspoiled area is an excellent hunting destination for those looking for a more traditional hunting experience in a tented camp.
