Panorama Route / Kruger Tour

Our Panorama Route / Greater Kruger Tour is the ideal way to end (or start) your South African Hunting Safari with CT Safaris. This is a privately guided 5 day (4 nights) tour for minimum 2 guests / maximum 4.

Day 1:

Head off to Lydenburg in Mpumalanga Province, stopping over at Dullstroom for lunch before checking into Black Leopard Camp. You will be taken on a scenic game drive in an open game viewing vehicle up to the luxury tented camp.

Day 2:

After breakfast, we will depart to the old gold rush town of Pilgrims Rest  which is a museum in its entirety. Depending on availability - enjoy some African culture with singing, dancing and dinner at Shangana, a traditional Shangaan village. You will meet the chief with his 3 wives and 36 children before heading on to Hazyview near Kruger Gate (Kruger National Park). Overnight in Hazyview.

Day 3:

Drive the Panorama Route of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, admire the natural beauty of God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon, which is the third deepest canyon in the world.

Day 4:

Elephants at Motswari Pool

Motswari RoomThen it is off to Motswari Safari Lodge located in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. This private reserve became famous in the 1970's for the "white lions of Timbavati". With a handful of visitors and a limited number of game-viewing vehicles traversing on thousands of hectares of pristine African wilderness, the words 'private', 'secluded' and 'tranquil' best describe the Motswari experience.

Daily activities included at Motswari Safari Lodge:

  • 2 X Open vehicle game drives / safaris
  • a guided Bush Walk

Day 5:

Return to Johannesburg the commercial hub of South Africa, after your early morning game safari and breakfast. There might even be time for last minute shopping before we say our goodbyes at the airport or we drop you off at your accommodation establishment in Johannesburg or Pretoria.

Accommodation (3-4*), transport, guide, meals as indicated, porter-age where available, conservation fees and all entrance fees as per itinerary.
